Re: A Tale of Two Transmissions
Can I get on to bolt into my Triumph. After all the base of the Triumph motors are just tractor blocks that typically run at a fairly steady speed.

Re: Classing my car
Ok. That's a little better. I was thinking it was # of valves + # cyl. So it's actually # of valves per one cyl. I still think 10% per valve is a little high (for non-forced induction, w/ boost it may be apropriate). But I haven't run U or SP in a while. So...just something that cought my eye when r...

Should have included before clicking send.
I just don't see how +10% per cyl adds up to = the power advantage. I always thought it was +10% wether you had 4 cyl or 8 cyl. Must have been the rules meeting I missed.

WOW! I really missed that one. How does going from 2 valves to 4 valves = 10% per cyl?

Re: Classing my car
When did the "each" get added? The way I see it now a 16 valve 4 cyl would be +40% and a 32 valve V8 would be +80%. I think that is a little excessive. What did I miss along the way?

Hey,
We need a wire truck. An open pick up would be best (no cap). You need to be able to communicate with the driver to start and stop.
Thanks, Brian

Re: Lets take the human error out of timing...
John – I agree with you on the start position. I have never said it but it has always been in the back of my mine. A little sidestep in the car especially with a car like yours or brother Dave’s could leave some serious tread marks on someone. Then there is the exploding parts potential (which is mo...
