Re: Lets take the human error out of timing...
Just my 2 cents... which may only be worth 1 cent I know some of us (myself at times included) can or are "ubber" competitive and when you win (or lose) by 1/100 of a second there is that question of human reaction time. However, there's a term in the rally world "force majeure" ...

These numbers based on Kevin's statistics and maybe Mike Wilson's from some time ago. This would allow min 3 runs per day. Also.....

Re: Seam welding, frame conecctors, foot plates
I have the Harbor Freight helmet. It works great. The only time I had an issue was working in tight space and the light sensory was blocked by a section of roll cage I was welding. It only has 2 small sensors about an inch above the eye window.

Burke 1 Thanks
Just a quick THANK YOU to event chairs Sherm and Dave. Josh had a great time and is already working on a better transmission for the mystery machine. I had a fun and RELAXING time. Morgan loved it which made Tina happy so she could enjoy the event as well. Thanks to all the workers.

Re: Vintage Jag for Ascutney?
Does it have lights? steel roof? could it be driven on the street? If it could possibly be street driven (windows lights etc) then it may fit SP class (street prepared) with the roll bar. If convertable roll bar must be above helmet. However you would be governed by the breakout time rule. For SP cl...

Re: Thinking of changing the Turbo Rabbit TIRES
In conversations w/ the Rutan's and my own experience w/ FWD and slicks ...they wear. With the Charger we tried all different settings (some not drivable). All urethane bushings. My solution...get the car to go fast and still drive comfortably and stock up on tires. We also tried different brands an...

Re: Convertible Regulations on Unprepared vehicle?
aahh yeah. Last mention I see is in 2005 tech rules. Did it accidently get cut? or is it listed someplace other than crash protection? Brian
