I stopped running Ascutney 10 years ago because of ground clearance issues beyond the bridge. Bill McCurdy at Williams Racing, Harvard, MA. gets extended life out of the oxygen sensor used on his dyno. He does not leave the sensor in the bung while the engines are being started and warmed up, and only installs it once the engines are fully up to temp. He claims this makes a huge difference i...

I had hill climbed in Europe while in Army and In 1972 I ran Mt. Ascutney. In 1999 decided to return to hill climbing. Googling 'mt ascutney hill climb' brought me in contact with NEHA. Thoroughly enjoyed running my old Kellison on the VT & NH hills but finally decided to move into a safer car. ...

VSCCA ran events there from 2004 until 2007. I don't know what it cost but their breakeven was 31 cars at an entry fee of net $370. The road was available only until 11:30 am on Sat & Sun. We were allowed unlimited touring runs on Friday and whenever they were collecting tolls on Sat & Sun. ...
