Re: Front aero ??

The splitter end plates may be there, not for front downforce, but for rear. Perhaps those large end plates are functioning as "dive planes" (the steeply raked elements that bracket the headlights on sports prototypes). Their main job is to improve the efficiency of the rear wing by modify...

Safety gear recomendations

Hi all. Paul Malko here.

As you might imagine, I need to replace my helmet, shoes, & gloves. Also, I'm planning on getting rid of my "X" so I'll need the other stuff too. Anyone have any recommendations for make/model or favorite suppliers from the last couple of years?

Thanks.
Paul

Hello everyone. Roy and I are co-chairing the event this weekend and I'm trying to plan ahead. Wire Installation Volunteers: Please let me know if you can help install the wire on Friday afternoon. I'm hoping for 3 or 4 people plus a pickup and driver. Trail Marking Volunteers: I'll have caution tap...

Re: Rabbit Farmer's various VW Projects

Wait. That new car doesn't look anything like a 911. Damn, I thought I had Julie all convinced that a Carrera 4 would be perfect.

Besides, that can't be a Volvo... It has curves. Where's the cheese grater headrests?

Re: Dennis Clan Shenanigans

I'd pay to see the shifter kart run Ascutney. Should fit into P4 nicely and give the Toylet some competition.

Re: Sources for cage steel?

I purchased my DOM from Marmon Keystone. 1 clark St. Southhampton MA. 01073 They delivered via truck freight to Nashua NH no problem Me too. It's a large company, but they billed my credit card and delivered to the shop at my work for free (near one of their weekly milk runs, I think). Turns out, y...

Re: Setback on the Rotary Miata

That just reminded me that I had handed one of my 4tb drives to you at the banquet. I'll assume it's a puddle of formerly magnetic metals. Yup. Sorry about that. I'll add it to the list for the insurance company. If you need a replacement quickly, buy one and I'll pay you back at Ascutney or mail y...

Setback on the Rotary Miata

Hello all. Paul M here. First: I'm OK, everyone is OK, no living things lost except for a couple of house plants. Second: My Miata engine swap has suffered a major setback. Like, really major. Rich and I will need some pretty major luck to compete at all this year, but we'll be at the hills no matte...

Re: NEHA Laptop

I've got an old HP, but it needs a hard drive. Your welcome to it if someone's got a drive laying around.

I've also got a spare Raspberry Pi, if that helps. ;-)
