Going to paint my engine bay the green that my wagon was in preparation to paint the entire car at some point. Atleast I have what, 6 months until next season? I think it'll be done. :l...

Re: Philo Workers Wanted - Great Benefits Package!
I'm going to try to be there, potentially with a friend or 2. Not sure if it'll be Saturday or Sunday.

Re: NHOR-Landcruisin builds another Subaru
Just a reminder - the Kirkey seat I reccomended earlier in this post is not only available in sizes, but in made-to-measure. That's part of why I bought mine. and why I rave about how comfortable it is. Because it IS tall enough, the harnesses actually get more comfortable when pulled tight! Ah yes...

Re: NHOR-Landcruisin builds another Subaru
I may be tall but I'm not very big around. I'll have to introduce myself and test out the seat when your car is back to hill climb ready.

Re: NHOR-Landcruisin builds another Subaru
I had the same concern about the belt holes. I did a little research and I think I'm going to end up going with a Sparco Corsa. The seat back is taller than most seats I've found and the slots for the belts are pretty tall. Though at $800, I probably wont get it until next year. http://www.hans.ie/d...

Re: NHOR-Landcruisin builds another Subaru
The harness bars join the hoop braces at the X junction. I hope that based on having test fit the seats and ensuring the leadout angle of your harnesses from the seat openings to the middle of the bar was 0-20 degrees down. We have run into a spate of harness bars positioned way too low for one rea...

Re: NHOR-Landcruisin builds another Subaru
So I havent updated this recently because I've been busy and havent worked much on it... But I'm getting pretty close, I think all thats left is a few gussets. I built a harness bar and door bars in the last couple days and finished welding in the foot plates last week. Here are some pics. http://i2...

Re: NHOR-Landcruisin builds another Subaru
So I got the front part all welded up, all thats left is a harness bar, door bars and the rear diagonals and X. I'm getting low on 1.75in DOM so can I use 1.5in DOM for the harness bar and rear X? I'd still be using 1.75 for my door bars and diagonals from the top of the main hoop down to the strut ...
