Bad boots and covered in grease is fine. Need a donor to rip apart for a retrofit R&D project.

Re: Mt Washington - supps
I like an abreviated rules book. I've been roadracing with SCCA for some time now. Their rule book has reached epic proportions at 695 pages and is only rivaled by War and Peace and the Gideon Bible.Mopar 151 wrote:... and why the NEHA rulebook still fits on 3 sheets of paper.

Re: Mt Washington - supps
I'd be more concerned about the guy that crawls under a car with no jack stands than whether plywood is OK or steel plates are needed. Common sense says that is wrong, but from what I am reading nothing in the rules prevents it. What’s next, rules like this? “No driver can apply more lateral acceler...

Re: Mt Washington - supps
I've used a square of plywood under my jackstands when I'm on a soft surface. Done it for years. If I'm on pavement or concrete, especially with any sand on it, the last thing I need is a jacksatnd with a steel base plate and what amounts to ball bearings under it. Why screw-up a perfectly good set ...

Tail of the Dragon Hillclimb
I just read this. The Tail of the Dragon Hillclimb, Robbinsville, NC by the Central Carolinas Region of SCCA. 2.2 miles, 1000ft elevation change. June 11& 12, 2011 Link: http://ccrscca.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tt&action=display&thread=4495&page=1 http://www.ccrscca.com/images/to...

Re: KILLINGTON ASCUTNEY?
Let me pose the situation this way, if SCCNH already had the late August date, would KSCC want to take a mid September date? Is a 3rd Ascutney financially worth having when it is 3 weeks after the 2nd and held on a shorter course with a higher risk of bad weather? IMO, whoever sanctions the 3rd Ascu...

Re: Tires for Washington
Grooved road race slicks. Basically gumball slicks like R250 compound Goodyears. The DOT stuff, even autocross compounds are too hard. Dirt Stockers are too soft for anything heavier than a dwarf car, soft but the tread depth makes them squirm bad on asphalt, now that most of the moutain is asphalt ...

Re: Need some opinions...
John,
Nah, you deserve your time in the limelight. He could have claimed you were the one that invented dirt so the road bed could be made.
and besides wasn't it Smokey that came down off the mountain carrying 2 stone tablets with the hillclimb rules on them.

Re: Need some opinions...
Joey, I tried to offer what I thought would be some constructive opinions. I guess you didn’t find any value in it given your prior post. No loss on my part if you want to continue with the public bashing and sniping, that is your option as is the image that it presents of you as an individual (see ...
