I found out at Okemo 2 my door bars on the Miata were not completely welded around the bar. Is it legal/acceptable to cut a access point in the lower A pillar to weld the backside of the bars? I was thinking of going through the outside of the pillar and then straight through the inside. Then weldin...

I am about to pull the trigger on an Autopower bolt in cage. I called and found the bolt in cages are 1 3/4 diameter and .120 thickness and the base plates are more than 3x the tubing diameter. I have seen these cages recommended in the forum and didn't know if anyone had any recommendations before ...

dsldubn, that is some serious damage. Its crazy how it destroyed the road barrier like that!
I spoke too soon about damage, my house is still fine but more than a few of the major highways collapsed but nothing as bad as what I have seen on the news from Vt.

The hurricane seems to have done some serious damage to the New England area...duh! In NJ I didn't get much other than some fallen trees. Lots of major flooding, but my neighborhood was ok. How is everyone else?
