The Yaris has many, many variations around the world. Can I mix and match OEM parts from those models onto mine without penalty or can I only use Toyota or TRD parts sold in the US without incurring a penalty?

Yaris classification?
I have a 2008 Toyota Yaris and I'd like to try hillclimbing(very, very slowly...lol) it. It has a header, catback exhaust and suspension mods but the spring perches haven't been altered.
