Re: 2017 Philo Camping

Sign me up for an RV spot. If I can get some volunteers to come up with me, I'll also take one of the summit-sites if they're still available. That worked out well last season.

Re: Rabbit Farmer's various VW Projects

Wow, you've been really busy! It looks like most of this is repair/fine-tuning, which must be nice.

Re: requirements for battery box in drivers compartment?

That depends upon whether it's a sealed battery or not. If it isn't, you'll want a sealed box.

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

I decided that trying to make the front suspension happen by myself wasn't working, so today I switched to the rear subframe pickups. I'm really glad I did, that little change of focus solved my mental block, and I was glad to be back in the shop. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/585/33426329436_29e46d...

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

I really must've gotten a lot of dust in my eye when I cut all that work out. ... What? No, I wasn't crying. Like I said, dust. Someone must've been sweeping before I got to the shop ... or something. Definitely not crying. https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3926/32910788810_8292bed2a5_b.jpg After I pull...

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

I got this far before I had another set of hands to see where the hub ends up relative to the fenderwell. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/537/33118442112_8decc73a99_b.jpg The current wheelbase is 90" ... but I have everything set up for 94" as it turns out. Luckily, now that I've established...
