Re: FS: Race car / Mod Heavy #15
Boy, would I love to get into this car next. It would be quite a change from the Subaru! How would a 6'6" 255lb guy fit in it? I'm debating moving into something like this next rather than dumping about that same amount into a turbo powerplant/ 6 speed subaru trans swap in the RS.

Here's me with the N/A #8 Impreza. I set a personal best record for myself and had a blast at my second hillclimb ever! I look forward to seeing you all at Burke as long as I can make it!

You can mail the registration I believe. I had no issues with online registration for P2.

Re: 2012 Ascutney Dates
The registration link should bring you to the Motorsportsreg.com website, at least that's where mine links. If you have an account already just find Sports Car Club of New Hampshire and you should see that the first 2 autocrosses , the beginner autocross school, and the Spring Hillclimb listed for o...

Murphy's Project RS
Thanks for the suggestions John and Sherman, I went with the half inch holes! It makes a lot of sense and I am glad I made a post about it before I finished it up! Here is a quick update: got the car painted this week, we did all the prep to it and just had the single stage flat sprayed by chassis m...

Murphy's Project RS
I get what you mean. The old bumper beam was very sturdy but made of thin steel and much larger. It attaches to the original mounting points, which are into the front rails. I hadn't even thought about that, and to be honest, if the car has a minor off and gets totaled badly ill just hope to find an...

Murphy's Project RS
Well it's been a while since the last update, so here's what I have! We decided to get a new set of tires/wheels after running the 275 A6's that I used for autocross last year. I procured a very cheap set of stock 16x7 6 spoke wheels (16 lbs) and a set of 245/45-16 z214, we'll see how they go. We al...

Re: seat recommendations
I have the intermediate RR seat and the 17" fits my 6'6" 250lb frame just fine and it overly comfortable for what it is. My 5'7" father also fits in the seat, albeit a little loose, but is comfortable when he uses it. We have it set on sliders in the RS.
