Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

Good to see some updates. Why do you need a new cage? Looking forward to seeing more Oh, right. The seat I bought off Larson has 'wings' that protrude too far forward to be able to get in/out of the car with a helmet on. With the main hoop reclined 10 or 15 degrees, I should have plenty of room, ev...

Happy Birthday to me. Cutting out such nice fabrication work hurts, but the project demands it. https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5651/29995716774_fca3700194_b.jpg A little help from a few people, and I was left with most of a roll cage. If this were a single-seater, it'd be ideally set up. https://c2.s...

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

I've spent most of the season prepping and tooling up for 2017 prep, and over the past month it's finally starting to come together. Today I bent the second A pillar, reinforced the body (so it doesn't collapse), and cut out the existing roll cage. The plan: https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7483/279927...

Re: Rabbit Farmer's various VW Projects

I love how simple that fix is. It sort of makes me wonder why VW didn't just tap a hole there from the factory.

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

I thrashed all week on the CRX (video here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpOIAtf1URudpnLOPffPzBhZ7pSy75Vm0 ) and got extremely close to having it ready for Ascutney. It wasn't really worth thrashing and being late to the event just to shake it down on the most unforgiving hill we run. Mike...

Re: 04 SRT-4 Hillclimb/Rally Car

Re: GRM NSX article

Ted Klaus is the head ov global development on the 2017 NSX project. http://autoweek.com/article/car-life/jay-lenos-garage-welcomes-2017-acura-nsx I found some evidence that he's been involved in PA hillclimbs (mostly reference to some sort of an off): http://www.pahillclimb.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?...

Re: 93 240sx build

What is this "stock 240sx" you speak of? I've never heard of that.

Looks great, though! The more I go back to dealing with stock fuel lines, the more I appreciate how nice AN is to work with.

Re: Free VW stuff

I'll see if I can get a truck to head to Dover, then. It's not too far from me in Manchester. Will they all fit in the bed of a standard-sized pickup?
