Roll centers, weight distribution, caster...
Alright. My car has handled funky from the get go and unfortunately everything that I read to fix it has two sides with valid points. I honestly do not know what to do. I would not like to rebuild the car like a fool. Which with us garage builder guys is quite easy. I know for sure that I am going t...

Re: Murphy's Project RS
Thanks. I need to check the back spacing on my car. But they might work. Let me know when you figure out what you plan to do with them.

Re: Anyone for tarmac rally?
I would highly interested if my budget allows for such an event. Just a super long hillclimb :D . This would be interesting in the new car. If drivers go solo does that mean we enter the stage completely oblivious to whats ahead, or do they have maps so we have some sort of idea? I mean i guess it d...

Re: Murphy's Project RS
Just out of curiosity are you planning on getting rid of the wheels? If so are they 5x100? how wide, backspacing? I would be interested in them if all fits and your planning on not using them for next year.

Ya Kevin torque is nice. I had to start in second because first is useless. And left it in third most of the time. I think i hit fourth 3 or 4 times if i can get it in lol.

Re: a loss of a friend
I remember I looked up to Sim when I was a wee little hillclimber. He tolerated my curiousity and was extremely nice. His car was the fastest car I had, and have ever started. :) He let me "warm up the car" in the Mt. Washinton parking lot.Even though I didnt do much, he said I was still p...

Re: Competition on both Saturday and Sunday
I kind of agree and disagree with the suggestion. I like the idea because it actually may create more consistency. The rally crosses work that way. But they accumulate all runs.< not a suggestion. Now I disagree for all wheel drive against two wheel drive cars because if its slightly moist or wet on...

Spring Rates
I know what we do is a little different than most other road sports so i was curious....When building something new, how do you know what spring rates to use? Does anyone have any good books to suggest for suspension setups? Then add on personal opinion for the hillclimbs. It seems that maybe super ...

Re: universal mid-engine kit
I came across this awhile ago. I think they made a car that was like under 2000 pounds or something silly and had like 4 hyabusa motors. It was running like 500 AWD horsepower. I was actually just discussing with allan about mid engine cars and how a couple people hillclimbing couldnt get them to tu...
