2240 for all aluminium, no options. similar with Cabinets, nice floor, lights, heavier axles, diamond plate ramp is 3400 pounds. Small aluminium open trailer is about 600. Wicked nice, $17K ++++ Trailex aluminium enclosed is about 2300# a 28' Auto master is 4800# before options. 4800, my car, 1000# ...

My suggestion, as a UJE (Uncertified Junkyard Engineer) - drill a 1/2" hole in the back side of the tube, just outboard of the brackets. This will create a fold point, to fail before the car structure. Welding an A&A tab on the front side of the tube, to poke through a slit through the bump...

They are like Holley's used to be - you have to take a brand new one apart, take out a burr or 2, a little casting flash, maybe some packing material - then set every adjustment correctly - and it'll run pretty good. :roll: How do you think there got to be so many guys in the Holley carb preparation...

I have lately heard that at least some of the former BG Fuel Systems / Demon Carburetors business is back up and running, in the hands of "racers and industry veterans". Details are sketchy..... I'm happy, 'cuz they make the best kits and replacement parts for Holley design carburetors. V-...
