Soft and low is my mantra. Of course the car touched the pavement 8 times on my fastest run at the last Ascutney. And that didn't even include this landing on the long course.

Re: Ascutney 2 - Thanks to all
Oh and I just want to complain. This is what Ascutney did to my transmission. I'm blaming it all on the mountain. The massive amount of torque the engine puts out and warm sticky tires had nothing to do with it. http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a511/kevin_gale1/2015-09-27%2013.46.00_zpsf0okjxxt.j...

Re: I'm registered with the state!
Tire disposal is another issue, what do you usually do with your old tires? My local transfer station will take any number of them but they charge me for each one. I think was was $5 per tires and $10 for heavy duty truck tires. They didn't know what to charge for the modified race tires but I conv...

Re: I'm registered with the state!
I would also wonder if it might be to make sure they are properly disposed. If you decide to throw them in a ditch somewhere in theory they could be tracked back to you. Of course you could then just claim you sold them to someone else but it might discourage some people. My race tires have barcodes...
