Will you have a laptop? Can we just bring a USB stick with the movies or do we have to bring a laptop?sdwarf36 wrote:If anyone has videos or movies they'd like to share, bring-em! We'll have the big screen up + going.

Re: NEHA Laptop
Let's discuss on Saturday evening. If you can bring a copy of the app, I'll have a look at it.
If I can find some time, I'll give it a shot. I can do pretty much any language and platform but the GUI might be in French only!

Re: Rollcage padding
Not surprisingly the version they list as "SFI™ Embossed Roll Bar Padding" is much more expensive that the version without the SFI Embossing. I guess applying that label is an expensive processes. I don't know how much the certification process costs, but it is probably not cheap. T...

Rollcage padding
I was reading the current rules that state "Any rollcage member reachable by the driver’s head must incorporate high-density shock-absorbing material in padding." When I came to my 1st hillclimb, I didn't have SFI rated padding and it was not deemed of suitable density. I was lucky that so...

Re: NEHA: 2015 Season Rules Submission
I rec'd two proposals from Emmanuel, three from Kiwi, and one from John Reed. (John mentioned there might be an update coming) I will be arriving toward the end of the meeting as I'll be RallyXing in Canaan on the 7th. I guess the proposals can be discussed without me as they have already been deba...

Re: Reserved # list
With the reserved number list, you are on it if you have been using it within the last 2 seasons. If you get with Lincoln and ask if he doesn't want his number, then it is available. Steve has it correct. Margaret is welcome to 11 if Lincoln is OK with that. For all I know he is planning on racing ...

Re: Okemo 2 caged car crashes
Not sure if any rule changes are going to be proposed for cages, but I found this interesting thread on another forum: 'This thread was a real eye opener as it pertains to how a Pikes Peak cage is different than your typical W2W cage. http://www.evolutionm.net/forums/motor-sports/594243-evolution-dy...

Re: Kill switch
The rule only states that the kill switch isolates the battery and does not mention the ignition. Even the Mt Washington rules state: A recognized battery shut-off switch must be used in all cars. Yes this was also my understanding, this is why I was proposing a change to also cut the ignition. Fro...
