Re: Philo Hillclimb (2013)

Yes. We are shooting for worker meeting at 7:15am at the bottom of the hill. We will have coffee and donuts available. We will provide lunch at the top of the hill for all our workers. Dress for all kinds of weather, the forecast keeps changing.

Re: Philo Hillclimb (2013)

Bumping this thread... Philo is less than 1 week away! If you plan on racing please pre register (info at the top of this thread) so we can have an accurate head count for lunch. If you are on the fence about running let me give you a nudge to drive. First don't let the idiots in Washington distract...

Re: Fall Ascutney is in the books.

Just for the record I did not know volunteers were needed to tear down equipment, if I knew I would have went up since I planned on staying for awards. I'm not sure if I missed the announcement on that. The more hands tearing down the hill is good. If it happens fast enough people still have time to...

Re: Fall Ascutney is in the books.

Grills good! Crashes bad! It was a great event! The only small suggestion I might add is some water for the drivers at the top of the hill like KSCC does. It wasn't hot this weekend but it is appreciated. Having awards before the hill tear down is nice to have everyone participate but I hate to have...

Re: How do you know when to call it a day?

I'm done when control ends it unless I'm tired or the lighting is really messing with me. Usually the being tired goes along with overheated. If I'm not improving my last run or two is a dialed back fun run. At Ascutney I take all the runs I can since I have seen that hill the least because of my tr...

Re: Project Fiero

When I was looking for a seat, I sat in as many race seats as possible. The ones I liked I looked up the seat dimensions to make sure they would work in the car. I also used the seat specs to find other manufacturer's seats that I have not tried yet and then tried to find those seats to try out. Set...
