I can confirm that NASA (Road Racing and Rally) WILL be permitting SA2005 helmets until the end of 2016. Also, I see that RA will accept SA2005 during 2016. So, maybe we SHOULD follow these leads and delay implementing the SA2010 minimum until 2017. One less rule change to argue about this year. Yo...

They will all roll in at the last minute. We do need to change the helmet rule from C. Helmet 1. a. Snell SA2005 or newer, b. FIA 8860-20XX with manufacture date less than 10 years, or c. We must have revised it. We sometimes have to renumber when something is dropped and sometimes we miss a reference. I'll try to remember to clean this up when I edit in the changes this year.
