Re: camber plates

thanks for the replies! I like both of those options. I lean more toward the shine version, because they're simple and should be fine for my needs (and i can weld steel), but it's impossible to find those anymore. I have the ability to make my own, but not the time before Burke, and after starting t...

camber plates

Anyone have any recommendation for camber plates? They can be universal weld in, that's fine. I had a very old bolt in set in my rabbit for many years. I broke one at Okemo. I got another ebay set, which actually appeared to be constructed well, but the spherical bearings in them were absolute crap ...

Re: BURKE 1, 2016

have fun folks, sounds like a good weekend!

I really miss racing, and everyone involved. This summer has been rough for free weekends. Save me a spot for burke 2, looks like I might actually make that one!

Re: Free VW stuff

...and sorry to hijack, but Jesse if you want to get rid of a 14" bbs wheel or two that aren't bent I might be interested if they are a match to the 3 i've been sitting on for years. Mine are bmw wheels though, so not sure if they are teh same width/offset as what you have

Re: Free VW stuff

they'll work fine on honda. it's really easy to make a ring to cent them, or if you use the right lug nuts and torque evenly they will be fine. I've run all sorts of different 4x100 wheels over the years, from all makes, and there are plenty of easy options for making them fit right. I even took a r...

cool, the bikes are a good distraction while waiting on the car. I've always found bike builds to be more relaxing too...and cheaper

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

bummer about set backs, but don't let it get you down. In the end they are all just cars. It'll get done and you'll run it. crx will be a fun back up. I'm not sure if you already got rid of all you miata stuff, but if you need any spare 4x100 wheels I'll give you some. still have your cb or cl360?

Re: Happy Birthday to me (280z build)

Autocross is flat with no hills, not quite apples to apples comparison to hillclimb. Either way, I just was curious as it seems like a lot of work for the flares and I was thinking you were under pressure to get it done for this season start. I like wide tires and flairs too, all good, and I'm sure ...
