Re: Ascutney II Length Change
Another issue for the sake of record keeping, is the relavence of the times. Nobody knows or cares what time Rutan got to the bridge. We just know his short and long times. If Kevin or Joey or Paul T, etc. do a 1:59 to the bridge for example, they may get Ftd, but historicaly who cares? I'm not goin...

Re: Ascutney II Length Change
I'm against shortening the course. I like the challenge of dealing with the top. The top has made me make changes I normally would not have made, which adds a different dynamic. If the top is breaking your car, then the car has other issues and should not be raced, or probably even driven on a norma...

Re: Project Rookie
I would be very grateful the dealer helped you with the bill. The only way those caliper bolts would break off is if the hack who put them on last, overtightened or more than likely cross threaded them. As was the case with the wheel stud, on that wheel. Getting a big dollar caliper goodwilled, is m...

Re: Roll centers, weight distribution, caster...
"Soft spring/big bar" setups are particularly problematic on bumpy courses like ours, and they are known for lacking "feel", and being difficult to balance John, so I don't forget to ask you when I see you, what ratio of spring to bar would you consider to be a Soft spring/ big ...

Re: Okemo 1 pictures and video
Interesting to see you left foot brake in the rear drive car. I used to alot in front wheel drive, but found it causes massive understear in the S2000, something you usually never experience in a S2K. I like the bumper view, it does distort the speed, but I like to watch that view to study the road ...

Re: Okemo 1 pictures and video
That one freaks me out a little too, since I was at the checkpoint the prior day. Fairly certain I was pretty close to where he backed in. I was sitting on the inside of a corner at Philo and had a car land on its roof within reach of me. I never even had time to get out of the chair. I think about...

Youtube video
Does anyone have suggestions on how to upload a youtube video to have the quality of the actual go-pro video? Seth told me about a file coverter to convert file types. However when I edit a go pro video, to remove the long time running waiting in line, in windows movie maker and convert it back to M...
