Re: OKEMO I 2014

If anyone is interested in getting an inexpensive action cam that works surprisingly well for this, I highly recommend the 1080p Pyle action cams (I didn't spring for the extra $100 for wifi control though). I don't expect these to stay available for long at this price, so get 'em while you can! ht...

Re: Project Fiero

So I've been thinking about racing seats again and am considering going with a more basic, lightweight seat than the Sparcos I was looking at before. In particular, the same Kirkey one Luke has in his mod. (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/kir-39300) Our rules state that "Fiberglass and other ...

Re: Project Fiero

Yeah, I don't care about stains in the carpet, I think it's more the sound deadening material underneath that is saturated and that should probably just be thrown away. Well, I've gotten the master cylinder all in and bled and she's shifting like a champ! I'll tackle the carpet issue when I feel lik...

Re: Project Fiero

I've had to replace the clutch master cylinder since it was leaking. So I just pulled it out of the car and while I wait for Fedex to get here with my new one, I thought I'd get on here and pick your brains. The cylinder was leaking out of the plunger end that sticks into the passenger cabin and has...

Re: Project Fiero

Sam, do you know what class you'll be running in this season? Are you planning to make all the events? I'll be running in S5, the same class I ran at Philo last fall. Sadly both Luke and I will be missing the first two events due to previously scheduled events. (Too bad best friends don't understan...

Re: Project Fiero

Thanks for the info Walter! Amsoil looks like it's a really good oil, but I'm thinking at this point of sticking with something a little cheaper. Especially since it's not a modified race engine. A street use full synthetic should do well for what I need.
