Re: 2014 Season Rules Proposals

Steve and all, if we want to discuss rules on the forum before submitting them, should we post as replies in this thread, or post over in the Rules Discussion forum? I have a couple of rule suggestions over there now for discussion: http://www.hillclimb.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=24 Thanks! Jamie

New classes for electric cars

I would like to propose two new classes for NEHA: 1) Electric Modified (EM) 2) Electric Production (EP) Both classes must use only electric power ( during racing ). Mechanical power must be provided only by electric motor(s), which are powered only by electric storage devices (batteries, capacitors,...

Formula Libre change of class name

I propose a class name change from Formula Libre to Unlimited . Formula Libre seems a bit antiquated now, particularly since we don't have many (or any) formula cars currently competing. I suggest the class name Unlimited because it is self-descriptive, there are no limits to this class (other than ...

Great Okemo weekend. Thanks to the organizers and all the workers for putting it on!

A couple of unusual camera angles for you. The door view is my fastest run on Sunday; the rearwards view is from Saturday.

Re: Ascutney I (2013) thanks, photos, and videos

Great weekend and a fabulous event! Thanks Drew, Don, Terry, the workers, and SCCNH organizers for running the long course. I don't have any video from this weekend in the M3, but I will upload some of the Daewoo challenge runs. Although it was my gopro camera, I forgot to turn it on for my run. Grr...

Re: 2013 Rules Proposals

Do we even get class trophies in NEHA? I don't recall getting one when I won SP2 in 2010. If we are concerned with the cost of trophies (or giving a trophy to someone who runs only one or two events in an uncontested class), why not just change the requirements for handing out trophies? I still woul...

Re: 2013 Rules Proposals

Sorry folks, I have one! An alteration really... General Regulations 35. Proposed text is: 35. Annual points are computed by dividing each driver’s time for each event into the winning time for the event. For Class points the winning time for the class is used. For King of the Hill points FTD is use...
