Hankook race slick on deep discount at tire rack

I think these are the same ones Walter ran last season.

Walter, i know they aren't equal to your Hoosiers, but what was your impression of them?

Especially curious if anybody has run them side by side with toyo ra1's or r888s.

$125 for 16" slicks seems like a decent price, even though they are old stock.

I used the C71 - soft compound. Until I cooked them at Lime Rock I thought they were great. I think the Hoosier A06 I am using now are better, by maybe 20%. Given the huge price differential with this Tire Rack / Hancook closeout, these are a very good deal.
