I've long thought Sherman's forum signature was best, but I like this one too.
<begin quote>
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
<end quote>
Sounds to me like this guy needs to race at a place with fewer walls.

I've always liked the classic: "Speed costs money! How fast can you afford to go?"

Found another one:
What is the difference between mechanical engineers and civil engineers?
Mechanical engineers build weapons.
Civil engineers build targets.

A couple of my favorites:
"If you're still in complete control, then you're not going nearly fast enough."
and...
"Just because you've lost traction doesn't mean you've lost control."

"My biggest fear when I die is that my wife will sell my car and parts for what I told her I paid for them". A recent "poster" with this on Facebook reminded me of it - an old signature on GRM.

Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.
