DB limits?

Post by mathersports »

I do not remember if any of the hills have a DB limit. I am running a muffler but it is still pretty loud.

Thanks!!

Ascutney has no limits, as there are no houses nearby. Rest are something like 100 db @100 feet, but get a confirm from somebody with a better clue - it's usually on the entry.

... I believe that's roughly the same as a typical ambulance siren? Just go race some ambulances; If you can still hear them over your car, you should be ok.

From the event info pages:

Burke: 90 dBA or less at 50 feet from exit of exhaust.

Okemo: 96 dBA or less at 50 feet from exit of exhaust.

Philo: Doesnt list a specific limit, but does require mufflers.
The older I get the better I was.
