Anyone recall Dan or his car?
Steve;

I’m looking for any info on a hill climb car built by Dan Knap of Waterbury Center, owner of Werkstadt, who passed away in 2010. This was a single-seat mid-engined car, powered by a 914 air-cooled motor. I understand that the car was last raced in 2009.
I might have an interest in picking the car up and resurrecting it – any info you might have would be helpful. Thanks in advance,

Remember no, but I can say he raced with us in 2007, 2009 and last at Philo in 2010. The car types listed are a Porsche 928, Porsche 924 and last something called "The Lucky Dog". He mostly ran number 128.

He also autocrossed it at Stowe. Nice looking car, but I remember it being a little on the slow side.

Don't think we need the dates. Thx.

Here is the car. Is this the car that went off directly above CP7?

Sure looks like the one. I remember telling the driver the car was too low and too stiffly sprung for Ascutney at tech.

And the bumps after the bridge threw it around. I remember that car.
