They are not ready yet. The rules meeting was just this past Saturday and the webmaster(s) hasn't sobered up enough yet to post the 2009 updates.

Seth. Thanks for the FYI. I was actually aware. I meant to upload a dummy document for the 2009 rules until I received them. They will be posted once the changes to the documents has been completed.

The rules may also take a bit longer than usual this year. Don Taylor's proposal to change split the U and S classes doesn't have wording and it will affect a bunch of things. So it may take a bit to do the edits and run a few drafts by some people.

Do you post the new rules as tenitive, prior to the sponsoring clubs vote to accept or not?

We post the rules once they are edited by Kevin. The clubs vote on accepting the rules for their events. Rules stand as NEHA rules based on the rules meeting.... unsure what would happen if no club accepted them. That would mean the bar was opened too long at the rules meeting.... they didn't have liquor license so that shouldn't be an issue.
