Likely as not they are now part of the rally contingent that RA invited. That would free 2 places in the regular hillclimb classes and I understand there were a few applicants that were "wait listed". That would give a couple more hillclimbers a chance to get in.
Speaking of Mt Washington. It is a balmy 23F and the wind is from the NNW at 43MPH, gusting to 51.
They still didn't filled up the rally class... as far as I know.
I was reading on FB. They still send out invitations. So as my friend got one, who do drifting in a past couple of years to run the rally class. Would be interesting to see how many racers will run based on they criteria (which got me excluded from the race) in the race day in the rally class....
Arrived last nite...Don and I recce today since we do tech tomorrow. We couldn't get the van and race car up the really steep gravel drive to our rental house so we left it at the Auto Roads maint shed overnight. Forecast for today is thunderstorms on the mountain. Looks to be raining at the top now. Our house, in Jackson, has a fantastic view of the mountain.
Leaving tomorrow morning, should anyone have any last minute needs, get in touch with me.
My brother in law Bucky will be there in the worker campground(by the pond I think) with his camper, lots of snacks etc, feel free to pop over.
If I were to guess, if the weather is good, we'll break out the fryer.
Half the Dennis clan will be there today, the other half is heading up tomorrow. If anyone has any extra crew passes they are not using please let me know!

My Sunday morning drive up Mt Washington. I guess I was early enough that I didnt encounter anyone driving down, and some nice people at the top welcomed me and directed me to a parking spot.
