It is that time of year again to think about changes that you would like to see in the NEHA series to improve our events.

Three methods to submit a proposal; e-mail me at SCCVermont@aol.com with the e-mail subject of "2014 NEHA Rules Proposal", send me a private message (Rabbit Farmer), snail mail.

Snail mail submissions are accepted if postmarked by January 24, 2014 :
SCCV

Williston, VT 05495

(make sure to supply contact information so that I can confirm with you that your proposal as rec'd)

Submit one proposal per e-mail or PM using the following format. This is how the proposal will be read at the meeting:

1) Your name(s)
2) Rule type (General Regulations, Classification, Technical Regulations)
3) Rule section letter or number
4) Your proposal exactly how you would like to see it written in the rules (may be a deletion)
5) Optional but helpful, please include a brief description of your thoughts behind your proposal.

Example:
Frankie Slowpokeski (TurtleRacing@aol.com)
General Regulations
5. General / B. Fuel System / Section 3
Change "metal can" to "can made of old milk cartons"
My thinking on this matter is that blah blah blah.

Steve and all,

if we want to discuss rules on the forum before submitting them, should we post as replies in this thread, or post over in the Rules Discussion forum? I have a couple of rule suggestions over there now for discussion:

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone that came out for the 2014 season rules meeting.

Obviously, Robert's Rules are not my strong suit so I opted for water over libations.... took one for the team!

I took the rules proposal document and added the results to it. Here are the rules, as passed by the members voting at the meeting:

HERE are the official rules for the 2014 season.

If I could hear from the presidents of the three clubs that they have accepted the rules, that would be great. Hopefully within the next month.

Thanks
Steve

And....

We agreed at the meeting that the amount charged for each registered drivers (goes towards awards) should go from $1.50 to $2.00 (if not more); I will get with SCCNH and KSCC.

Also, I volunteered myself to take care of the engraving of the awards each year. I feel that this has slipped through the cracks and has been a topic of confusion over the past few years.
