HERE are the official rules submissions for the 2018 season.

It is that time of year again to think about changes that you would like to see in the NEHA series to improve our events.

Deadline: Proposal are accepted up to February 03, 2018
Around February 4, we will post the Adobe PDF file at the link above with all the proposals to be heard at the NEHA Rules Meeting.

Hosting club: Make sure you make copies of the proposal document for the meeting

Submission Process

How to submit a proposal: E-mail me at SCCVermont@aol.com with the e-mail subject of "2018 NEHA Rules Proposal". I will respond to all submissions confirming that I received your e-mail; if you do not receive confirmation, send me a Private Message on the forums or Facebook to follow up.

It is okay to use a Word document for your submission.

This is how the proposal will be read at the meeting:

Rule type (General Regulations, Classification, Technical Regulations)
Your name(s)
Rule section letter or number
Your proposal exactly how you would like to see it written in the rules (may be a deletion)
Optional but helpful, please include a brief description of your thoughts behind your proposal.

Example:
General Regulations
Frankie Slowpokeski
5. General / B. Fuel System / Section 3
Change "metal can" to "can made of old milk cartons"
My thinking on this matter is that blah blah blah.

Make sure that you print a copy of the final rules proposals (as an individual) to bring to the rules meeting; the hosting club will hopefully also print some copies.

To keep everyone in the loop.

We are still working to update and post the rules... life is getting in the way.

I did not make note of which rules past as written/modified or what did not pass, so I cannot provide a general overview of what to expect.

I did hear that all Subarus are not in FL.

Next step is for KSCC, SCCNH, and SCCV to accept the rules for the 2018 season.
