Two drivers with one entry?

Post by Rabbit Farmer »

If there are more than 2 drivers in a car, or more than 2 cars per driver,
those drivers may not get a full set of runs, despite regulation 16. One
entry per car, per driver.
Let's say that I entered Okemo and Julie wanted to take a single run (one of my runs) up the hill to see if she was interested in doing it; would there really be an issue with that either from a rules or insurance point of view? She would sign all the paperwork, get a bracelet, etc. etc., but would use one of my runs. The car would go up the hill the prescribed number of times (and could use the same car number) so there is no additional runs.

Just thinking out loud.

As long as the chair is OK with it then it's not a problem. This isn't safety so the chair has the final word.

What the reg you quoted is trying to say is that we won't guarantee you get all your runs if you are more than 2 drivers per car or two cars per driver. So we won't create a third run group just for the person who wants to have three drivers per car or run more than two cars.
