Here is the flier for the 2012 Banquet/2013 Rules Meeting:NEHA Banquet Flier

The flier is in the works but the banquet will be held at the same venue as last year (Common Man Inn, Claremont, NH) and will be on Saturday, February 2nd. I have ten rooms reserved for NEHA so you can call at any time to make your reservations and make sure to let them know you are with NEHA for that event to get our rate! We aren't getting the same room rates as last year so I set up for 10 regular rooms for Saturday only. Please let them know if you want to go Friday as well as I think you will get the discount rate still.

So, is the first weekend in Feb the new standard now? I know it was shifted last year from a week later (which used to be about the regular date) and I think that was because of some sort of conflict at the Common Man. As I said last year when this was done (perhaps I should have written in as a reply as I am doing now rather than just sending our regrets to last years organizers) I will not be able to attend because of a previous family event, in Texas, on the 3rd of Feb., EVERY year. I expect this will be true for future years as well.

I had no idea. Last year was the first banquet I have been to and this year is (obviously) my first time organizing it. No one had mentioned the "typical" date to me otherwise I would have polled it, sorry!

Having been where you are right now in setting up the banquet, its just not possible to make everyone happy. Around this date, you'e up against the Tim O'Neill rally-the Sandblast rally-Daytona 500-and then you get into the Valentines day specials places run -and so on.

Just called.... the did not have a special room rate for the NEHA event, but they stated they should have one. It was not in the computer (they could see it, but not utilize the rate [she was unsure what the rate should be for NEHA])

They are going to call me back on Monday with the correct rate for my room.

Sorry for the late response. Yes, there is a problem with the room rates which is why I haven't posted them to begin with. I haven't gotten a response to these rates yet and have been told that we have to rent at least one suite per regulations when blocking off 10 rooms. As soon as I hear from them I will let you all know! Sorry for the late response, again.

Normal rate (with tax) for a garden view is $248; NEHA discount is $226.
