Climb Ascutney is back for 2014

Come out and play!
This event will run much as it did in 2012. Full hill.
That means Rally Style with vehicles released on the minute.
We anticipate lots of runs again. Early starts, full days, line up and go!
One significant change we hope to implement is a multi-scoring system.
Specifically, we'll have a split time on the hill for anyone who does not want to run the bumpy upper section of the course.
That will allow all entrants to be competitively scored to the split, and those running the full hill will have a 2nd score (two scores).
As before, this is being run primarily to bring motorcycles and sidecars to Ascutney, but all are welcome to come and join in.
We had a great mix of cars and bikes in 2012 and anticipate the same again for 2014.

Just want to make sure people know that the MAX BMW Climb Ascutney event is separate from/additional to the NEHA series.
Climb Ascutney is intended to bring motorcycles and sidecars to the venue, but cars are welcome to enter as well.

It's a good chance for car competitors to "test & tune", continue learning the hill or run a different car for a change.

Folks should not consider it as a replacement to the regularly scheduled NEHA Ascutney events.

I don't have my medical insurance info on-hand, can I still sign up for it now, or do I have to wait until I have it?

You can definitely sign up now!

We are asking that everyone provide proof of medical insurance, but this can be done in several ways.
You can use the form when filling out the online entry, email proof of insurance to the organizers, or provide documentation during registration at the hill.

Just let us know what you're doing and we'll make it easy!

We are down to the final few days left to sign up for Climb Ascutney!

Just a reminder that all NEHA folks are very welcome to enter.
Also, this is a great chance to run a car, bike or sidecar that you might not normally run at a NEHA event.
We've had people come just to test and tune as well as folks entering their modern or classic sports cars.
Even the family station wagon is ok! Hey, it's another chance to run and learn the hill.
There is a good mix of entries so far, and we are encouraging rookies to sign up too. Rookie orientation will be targeted at fostering the novice competitor and getting them "up to speed".

Hey Joey - Yes - proof of medical insurance needs to be shown at registration.
Would be great to have you bring one of your creations!... or the family car.

Is this a new requirement for YOUR club's insurance policy?

Trust me, I wish I had my car ready... But even if I did, I opted out of Obamacare this year. As a small business owner, I could not afford it. Does that mean I would not be able to compete?
