Yes, that is very likely since the data shows that I am not completely off the throttle. I probably grabbed a bit of gas with the edge of my foot.
Someone else suggested that I could have actually missed 2nd gear and the car was actually in neutral. It is hard to tell from the video as the helmet cam moves a lot but it looks like the shifter is moving around like it usually does at the rev limiter. But if I had actually missed the gear, that could also be a contributing factor.

For giggles, I looked at the data from my best run, which was the run immediately before my off.

It supports the quote from the "young grasshopper" section on this website.
When things are going really well beware. Ask anyone who crashed hard. They were having their best run ever just before they left the road.
My off run, I was a full second quicker to the turn marker sign. My top speed was 2 mph quicker on that straight (on both the gps and obd2) on my run with the off.

That's funny, we used to say the same thing about our dirt bikes back in the day, 2-strokes at least, the'd run the Best, Awesome I tell you, right before blowing up.
Thing was to time it when getting chased by the cops that was the tricky part...

Another interesting development, it looks like my rear left completely locked up:
