Burke 2015-Pick ups + help needed

Post by sdwarf36 »

Ahh yes-two things you can't have a hillclimb without-pick up trucks + help. And we need both. We need a wire truck for setup on Fri-another truck to set up the checks-maybe a worker shuttle truck. Also warm bodies to help with the normal tasks. It would be great if I could get a commitment early-that way I'll only have 3 sleepless nights this week. ;)

Hey Sherm. I will volunteer to help with all of that. I'll have my truck to use for wire too.. I'll make sure to pull the cap off before I head up..

My goal is to get there by 2:00, and we could use my truck (with cap) to run equipment up to checkpoints. That being said, I don't always achieve every goal I set... But I'll do everything I can to get there by then to help out.

I'll be there with the truck in the afternoon. Let me know if you need the truck or help to know if I have to make the extra effort to be there early afternoon.

It sounds like we are doing good truck-wise. I like to get the wire rolling by 3-equipiment going up by 5-all signs + ribbons up by 6 and rookie orentation by 7. (maybe use you + your truck to give the rookies a ride up?) Of course the sooner its all done the better. :D I remember once I got dinner before 9 pm.... ;)

That works, I'll be there with the truck for rookie orientation.

Is tech going to happen at the same location as usual?
