2010 Burke 2: Post your photos and videos here!

Nick (I'd say it is the "Nick" that drives an STI and that wouldn't narrow the field... I might even add that it is a blue STI, but still, doesn't narrow the field).... still has my videos and Charlie (the flying brick brown Volvo.... field narrowed!) still has my Hero camera. After I get the content, I'll post videos from the morning at checkpoint 1 (Saturday only) and whatever Charlie/Cyrus/Joey recorded for in-car on Sunday.

BUT.... at least I do have photographic (there is an H and the T is not an RN.... sorry to disappoint some of you) results from the weekend. Had a great time on Saturday night with the folks at our site, heading to the top of the hill to hang out with a huge crowd of people (and good times in the tower), and then Sherm/Mich Margaritaville. Good times. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but with NEHA we have Facebook, Youtube, and the forums.

Great photos Steve!
Although Sandy was competing this event, she had a stand-in with her camera, so once we get some sleep after the long ride home, we'll post those too!

and... she's just fine after her little get-off after check 3.
More shaken up by the ambulance experience than anything else (she's very claustrophobic).
She's laughed, cried and gotten mad about the oops, but was thrilled to be a competitor and truly had a fantastic time.
Got a mild abrasion on her right hip, but that's the worst of it.
All the gear did it's job as intended and now has some "patina" to prove it.

Glad to hear Sandy is OK. It is fantastic that she is getting on a bike and going for it; major props.

My quickest run here was when the car was understeering (bad tires on the front) but I kept the understeer to a minimum here. I am going to put a clip together of the other "moments" at Burke II where the understeer was not at a minimum, and then, when I switched the bad tires to the rear, some clips when oversteer was king!

I learned a lesson here: don't try and run worn-out tires, especially mixing them with fresh!
