0:26 is turn 6

2:32 in this video is turn 29.

I go nice and sloooooooow in this video, so you can see the course nicely. My foot was to the floor until about 0:45 if that gives you an idea how steep the hill is.

Yes turn 6 is what I meant. I was counting from the new start not the traditional one. Thank you all for the input. As long as I can keep my ambition from putting me in the bushes I'll be just fine.

Hey everyone,
Because I'm a slacker I hadn't sent in my entry yet so I call Michele to see if there was room. She said there was plenty of room and to spread the word. So....if you haven't entered yet go do it. If you are not driving go sign up to volenteer for one of the 600 or more things and positions that need doing.

Burke is always fun come rain, snow, sleet or sun! :D      :P

REMINDER that we still are in DIRE need of workers for this event! BURKE 2013 is in 3 days!!!!!

I am putting a call out to Drivers who wouldn't mind working at check 1 and or 2. (I know its a pain, but if I can not find enough workers we don't have an event!)

Also the weather on Saturday does not look perfect, I HIGHlY reccomend workers bring RAIN GEAR, and warm changes of clothes. We're not NASCAR and stop an event for rain! (Thankfully)

Sunday on the other hand looks nice, but still chilly... BUG SPRAY will be needed!

REMINDERS:

Bring Rain gear, lyers and bug spray.. Burke does tend to have the most unique weather systems!

Bring water and snacks

A Chair

(We do have easy ups, so if it is raining, you won't be soaked!)

We also do provide workers with Free lunch on both Saturday and Sunday.

Sunset Cruse will be Saturday night after close of the hill!!

((If I do not have enough workers on Saturday morning, I will be grumpy, and WILL be knocking on campsite doors!! Even worse, we won't have an event without enough workers!!))

Email me at Samara.coble@gmail.com if you are interested in working!!

Thanks Everyone!!!

I'll help work if needed.

Any double driver cars this event? One works a checkpoint while the other driver is running, maybe they can safely switch places on the bring down.

That is why we have the A/B system to break up run groups - a "double driver" team can fill a worker position without missing anything, and a single driver can cover 1/2 a worker position.
