Someone let me know if there are plenty of sites to go around and I'll reserve one, or, I'll split costs with anyone that has an "under utilized" site.

Paul
Paul, right now there are sites available. Let me know.

Can Paul and I get a site for Burke 1?

Thanks

Hi Amanda,

I've reserved site 6 for you guys. It's a great site and will have room for your van, trailer and the super chicken :D It's also right across from the bathrooms/showers which is a plus. You can look under the event tab for Burke and there is a campsite map if you want to see where it is. See you there!!

Michele
Thanks Michele!! Check will be in with the entry.

Just curious. I was just on the Burke Mountain website and it has the toll road closed this weekend but says nothing about it being closed on the weekend of the Hillclimb. Also it doesn't list the hillclimb on its event calendar? Just thought it was interesting, any thoughts? :?:

Many thanks. You're the best. Sherm is a lucky guy!
I would have to agree with that ;)
Must be true--i read it on the internet. 8-)
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

Put my registration in the mail, looking to have a camp site on the edges somewhere (10?) Is there space somewhere to store a trailer other than in the camp site? I'll have 4 vehicles plus a trailer so a spot to put the trailer other than the camp site would be nice.

Trailers storage isn't a problem at Burke. There is a big lot near the end of the road on the right (past where you turn into the campground) where most of us park trailers. Some people camp up there as well. You will need to unload the car in the campground and then haul the trailer up to the upper lot. People who have a car that looks mostly street legal (and isn't really loud) can unload in the upper lot and drive down to the campground.

My registration is also in the mail. I included payment for a campsite. Michele, please let me know if there is still a site available.

All - I will only be one car and one small tent, so if anybody else is a smaller group and looking for a campsite, I am more than willing to share space.

Paul - I PM'ed you on Wednesday if you are still looking to share.
