Re: Okemo II pictures
Steve, see if you can upload using mp4 format(for future videos), it will save you a lot of time.

Kevin, your too fast, he would need extended exposure to catch you on film, it's like trying to get a picture of a lightning bolt.KevinGale wrote:I was worried that Steve might have given away my super secret fast lines by check 3 and 6 but I'm safe. In the 9 minutes my car doesn't appear at all.
Really nice crisp shots Steve. Good sound too.

Sticker on the camera says that it is 5.1 surround sound... unsure how that works on the camera. (perhaps it just states "surround sound"... I forget)honda#72 wrote:Really nice crisp shots Steve. Good sound too.

That will teach me not to complain.
For the most part it looks pretty slow to me. I'm still getting confidence in the corners with the car. The old modified that I drove with Ray and then Karen left me with mental cornering problems that I'm still working through. In that car the rear end would just leave town at the exit of the corner if you pushed too hard. No warning, it would just check out without paying the bill.
From splits and other info I'm not losing time in the corners right now but I feel like there is more time to be had once I gain some confidence that the car really isn't going to do anything bad.

Kevin, you should take the car to our slmp event. Lots of opportunity to find where that "edge" is, with out the ramifications(trees) you would find at a hillclimb.

I agree.... Butch had a blast there with his rig. I can see having a blast with Kevin's car.sachilles wrote:Kevin, you should take the car to our slmp event. Lots of opportunity to find where that "edge" is, with out the ramifications(trees) you would find at a hillclimb.
