I have video, too, but it will be a couple of days before I can do anything with it. Stay tuned...

Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

Re: Okemo 2 2012 Video
I finally got around to uploading my personal best run (02:38.74, run 1 Sunday).
The older I get the better I was.

What is the red light? It reminded me of a cylon eye.

No the one lower down. I think it might be an air fuel ratio. It is flickering back and forth.

Oh, that... The one you see is a 2.5 digit 7-segment LED digital voltmeter. The oil pressure to the right (partially hidden by the O2 analyzer and analog sensor logger - the large rectangular box) is doing the same thing. It must be some strobe-like interaction between the video frame rate and the gauges' display refresh. Sort of like the times when wheel spokes on the stage coach look like they are slowly turning backwards during Western flicks. No flickering or side-side movement of the displays are visible when looking at them directly.KevinGale wrote:No the one lower down. I think it might be an air fuel ratio. None of the gauges show up on the videos well (or at all) because of the bright sunlight thru the windshield. If I run the camera while the car is sitting in the shop or after sunset, all the gauges all show up quite well and even that flickering on the 2 digital displays seems less noticable.

Walter
Judging by the amount of time that green light on, you definately need more boost or, maybe, a redline like #72.
