Luke and Angela took it home with them last night. They assumed it was theirs since he has to pay for the new one. I'll let him know you need it.

Steve I assume you need the post for the sign. What is the best way to get it to you?

Maybe we should by them in bulk  , Luke isn't the first to buy the sign in that spot.

Definitely not the first. I wonder if we can get them to mount it in a way that we can remove the sign at the start of the event.

Pretty easy to just put a socket in there.

The sign is only connected to the post by 2 bolts. It would be easy to remove and just leave the post in the ground. If you hit the post hard enough to hurt it you have bigger problems anyways.

We got the park ranger a sign. She was not worried about the post. Maybe we can bring the post to her next year to add to her post collection. Luke- look for a PM.

My thoughts exactly. We seem to take out the sign and post with a car or 2 at every event. Might as well be proactive. Something that is flush to the ground with the post removed would be excellent. Then we could pull the sign before each day begins and replace it afterwards. I was going to suggest just before and after the event but I remember seeing more than one car going the wrong way past the campground on Saturday night...
The older I get the better I was.
