Philo 2014 registration?

Post by Veritech »

(double posting in case my post in general goes unseen)

Hi,
I am from Canada and have not been to a hillclimb since burke in ...2003? or 2004.. so out of the loop regarding the registration process.
Anyway, a friend and I would like to do philo in october and we're already checking for accomodations but before we book anything we'd like to make sure that we can register/enter the event.

Are the registration forms available yet? (if not, does that mean we're sure to have a spot? )

if anyone has any information you can contact me directly at william.le@gmail.com

thanks :)

I answered in the other thread. Long story short, registration has not opened yet. It will not likely fill, so you should be able to get a spot just fine when registration opens.

But don't let that stop you from looking for a place to. Stay. Philo always seems to be on "parents weekend " for all the area colleges.
Anyone have the info for the place right down the hill that reached out to us last time?
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

It is usually prime foliage tourist season, so last minute hotel reservations tend be tough to find.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'm just bumping this one. Is registration open? When do I put my money?

We'll put a motorsports reg link in the forums here.
As mentioned above, if you are hotel'ing it, make reservations now.

Well, if it's your birthday, make sure to schedule a brewery tour at one of the local breweries.

I do have something set up for Saturday evening. Our rally cars will be on the road, but our rallycross cars will be here.
