I'm not removing much and what I'm taking out is easy since they're accessories added on like the sunroof and A/C.
The part I'm paranoid about is the kill switch.

Re: The CRX
Just ordered my high density roll bar padding, med-density padding (for leg bumps), Longacre 4-point master cutoff switch, and my 6-point G-force harness w/mounting hardware.
Need to source power cables for the master cutoff install.
Whats a local place that I can try on helmets? I don't like to order things like that over the net.

Thing 1: feom a previous post: And to answer Dave's question about Helmets - Capital Speed in N. Adams, MA stocks lots of helmets, good prices. And closest for most of us.
Unfortunately, Bell no longer distributes through motorcycle shops, Simpson, Impact never did. AFIK, Capital is closest for most of us. Rusty, Brownie, and John Hart (our local guys) don't stock helmets in multiple styles, sizes.
Thing 2: That's basically how I wire Kill switches. Best cable to use is welding cable - 2 Ga will be fine for the Honda. Terrminals are available with Forney welding supplies in most hardware stores. Run inside hose or nonmetallic conduit for protection.. Whatever you ground the battery to, make sure you ground the engine block directly to that. A ground path through transmission bearings or the like is disastrous.

Re: The CRX
Fire extinguisher question:
I have a 5lb bottle and the mount has one strap and a fork that fits into a machined aluminum piece on the neck of the extinguisher. Is that good enough to meet the 2 strap requirement?

Re: The CRX
No. Just buy a second USCG approved holder for that extinguisher and move its strap to the bracket of the first, spaced as far down the bracket as you can. That is what I did on the Kidde I have. The odd thing about the Kidde USCG holder bracket #466400 is it has a shape that appears to have been intended to have a second strap where I put it. It even has a hole pre-drilled for a strap. See picture.
The older I get the better I was.

Re: The CRX
Turns out IOport carries a 2-strap bracket for my Amerex 5lb bottle.
Another $10 out the door!
