Only Mainers have fallen victim so far.

Any suggestions on where to buy a fire extinguisher and mounting bracket?

Home Depot. Seriously. just read the labels, get the A-B-C type. - it has the DOT labeling, too. The metal bracket is seperate - may be labeled "marine" or USCG approved.

I was there when it hit the course worker. It was coming through a decreasing distance slalom, over corrected and took a sharp left into a field. The course worker could move fast enough and was sideswiped and ended up on the hood. He received minor injuries and was racing the next week.

Thanks Howard, it's nice to know the back story.

Question of the day: Where can I get my injectors cleaned and flow tested?

R C Engineering has fast turn around for injector service and is not too much money.

RC Engineering (Russ Collins) built some of the most insane, intimidating drag bikes on the planet - some pics from their websitehttp://www.rceng.com/index.aspx

The motorcycle business is now in the hands of a successor company - Vance & Hines. Russ was one of the first to flow test electronic injectors, basically these guys are the real deal.

I know they're the real deal but $24 a pop seems pricey.

Doesn't matter right now since I don't have the car back from Joey yet, I have some time to make up my mind.

No--thats a decent price. 12+ years ago I was workin the machine shop at a Napa-we were getting $20 each back then.
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

D-series.org has a NJ shop that sponsors the site and charges $12.50.

But they're not great about communicating so I assume things are cheap for a reason.

For the little extra cost you can't beat the quality and experience of RC, dude really knows his stuff, also he knows a thing or two about building fast Hondas, plus they include a detailed report of your injectors performance.
