Street Prepared Classification Question - Inner Door Panels

The current rules for Street Prepared classification regarding door panels states "Doors may not have any structure removed causing them to be
excessively lightened – i.e.; intrusion bar, outer framework and basic structure of the door must remain intact".
My cars inner rear door plastic/fabric door panels/arm rests have been removed but the door's metal structure and bracing is undisturbed and the glass windows are still installed, would this result in a penalty for Street Prepared?

No, but you will need to cover the inner structure with something like plastic or aluminum sheet to keep your arms and legs out of the edges and mechanical bits.

Did I read that as your rear door is uncovered, but your front door has something?

Yes, currently, the front driver's / passenger's side door have stock inner panels..only the rears are removed at this time. However, if there is no penalty, I'll probably be removing both stock front panels/armrests also, and replace them with alum panel.

Walter can correct me if I'm wrong, you are fine without the door cards in the rear. I have street prepared 02 subaru, and I don't have the rear door cards. I have front door cards that are cut to fit my cage work. Alternate panels are ok.

You are right - I missed the "rear" part. You don't need a panel or card on the rear doors so long as your arms and legs can't get tangled in them.
