SOLD to a good home!!

1987 Mazda Rx7 FC3s
1.3L rotary (wankel) Naturally Aspirated (NA)
hillclimb - autocross - SLMP - race car

This car ran 0.02 seconds off the breakout time at Ascutney long course 2014 (with a lot left on the table as it was my first time at that hill in this car). Since then I've done more work and taken out more weight. Unfortunately the radiator popped at Burke II and seized the engine. I've replaced the engine and refreshed many things in the process. She's ready to hillclimb again... under new ownership

• 145k on body, 115k on engine
• Daily-driven in Florida, then came to Vermont & immediately became a racer (read: no winters)
• 1/2 caged. (IE: main hoop, HANS bar, rear strut bars, door bar included - needs A-Pillars, screen, dash, & door bars reinstalled)
• Corbeau Racing Seats
• 5 Point Harnesses (co-driver= outdated Crowe racing, driver= G-Force Pro Series GF-6000 Latch & Link 5 Point Harness Red - SFI 16.1 Certified new for 2014 season)
• Fire extinguisher installed
• Push Button Start
• Emergency engine kill switches
• Rear mounted battery in spillproof box
• SPAL electric fan with custom fan shroud
• Radiator water spray system
• Hayden power steering cooler
• Custom header & 304SS catless midpipe
• Cold air intake
• Desirable lightweight aluminum hood
• Custom aluminum dash
• Deleted headlights (can bolt back in though)
• Custom front splitter and flat-bottom engine under tray
• Emisssions "rats nest" deleted
• OIL METERING PUMP (OMP) and OIL INJECTORS REMOVED- MUST RUN 2-STROKE PREMIX GAS!!!!
• Wiring Harness stripped and re-loomed
• Short-throw shifter
• Suspension bushings
• Manual brakes - dual Wilwood Girling master cylinders with APracing Bias adjuster
• 2 sets of wheels included - Street 14's and race wideset 13's
• Tires on street wheels are 50% okay, Race wheels need new tires
• Weighs less than 1070kg (2350lbs) in current race trim

Spares:
• Seized engine
• 5 speed gearbox
• LH & RH doors
• Front & rear bumpers
• Headlights
• OMP & injectors
• ECU
• Front Control arms
• Sway Bars
• too much else to list...
• Ice racing BOLT TIRES on wheels

Cons:
• Cracked windshield (still passes tech)
• Wipers only work on one speed
• 5th & 6th ports deactivated - just needs a hose reconnected
• New owner should really get a new radiator - the 30yr old plastic ones just aren't fit for racing anymore
• May need a waterpump gasket soon - very easy job right on the front of the engine
• ONLY spot of rust is near the drivers left foot about 1"x2". (rusted from inside carpets - not outside road salt)
• A serious racer will need tires - Entry racer will be fine for a season or two with the street wheels/tires mounted currently

Asking $2015 for the whole thing OBRO

Almost forgot, the horn functions and it has the heater core installed, so it classes Street Prepared (X) for Hillclimbs

Stock suspension (you don’t want stiff suspension at the top of Ascutney)
4-Lug brakes (which is plenty for a car of this power/weight)
Open diff :(
Full glass (with polycarbonate you could drop probably another 50lbs)
OEM fuel system with pulsation dampener removed
