I know about VT shifter, they are a very good group. Unfortunately their schedule is a tough fit for us.

This new group is at Thunder Road on tuesday nights. Cheap entry if you have the equipment. Tuesday is the ideal fit, as it doesn't conflict with hillclimbs....and my job when I travel to the races, I usually leave on a Wednesday for a weekend race and back on a Monday.

My god-shifter karts on that tiny track-doing many laps? I bet you go home sore after a day of that! :P
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.
