I've had similar problems. Sometimes I can order tires from Hoosier and sometimes they will refuse to sell them to me because the compounds are being used in some series. I found a local guy who will sell me the same tires and I don't have to pay shipping. But I still can't get just any tire. Hoosier makes some compounds that would probably be really good but I can't just pick up the phone and order them.

Sorry for all the questions, I'm still trying to decide what type of car to get. One last question, (hopefully). I figured this is the best place to ask it. Assuming that a car like #15 is one of the heavier options, what ballpark would car of that size be in as far as towing weight goes. One of my major limitations as far as what I decide to race is weight. My only truck is a 4 cylinder Toyota 2wd. Its posted Max tow weight is 3500 lb which I have a feeling won't get me very far.

You are more than welcome to do that. Just call to make sure I'm available, e.g. will be in Boston this weekend; will leave for Texas on Wed. or Thurs. of next week to provide mechanical & emotional support for a four day, thousand mile rally for vintage cars, with my cousin Peter Markowski from RPM in Vergennes. The whole trip will probably take 10 to 11 days.

Ok thank you, It may be a couple weeks before I get time. Im busy this weekend and I work nights so a week night is out of the question. and early november is hunting season and ill be chasing furry woodland creatures around that week. So ill let you know when it looks like ill have time. What area do you live in, I need to know how long it will take me to drive there to plan how much time I need.

West Rutland, VT. I, too, will be chasing the illusive white tailed deer when I return from Texas.
