Double V bend or one cut for door X?

Is there any consensus as to what makes a better X door bar:

1) double V bend welded and taco gusseted

2) one continuous length diagonal with the second diagonal welded to it and taco gusseted

I tend to think option 2 would be better as you have 1 bar that is still straight and would be in tension during a side collision.

Based on what I see in rally the double V with gussets is preferred.
