That's kind of what I was saying. I just want to come have fun, but having fun means pushing a little (to me anyway). My plan is and has always been to run way more safe then is specified by the rules. Unfortunately safety doesn't come cheap, and the $600 for a H/N restraint on top of all my other new gear is hard on my budget. I'm not sure if the Focus will be below the breakout times, but I'll run as if it is, so I don't have to think about if I'm going to fast.

You may be able to find a used Hans for less money. Not a lot less, but every bit helps.
