Kent, if you get there in the morning, take a nap for me. :) We won't be there till after 1 or so- and can't do any set up till the trailer arrives.
Walt-I have some of the red ribbon-ill tie off the splices I come across.
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

I just put new brakes and rotors on the Vette for Burke but I will not have time to bed them in before the hillclimb (car is not street legal and won't be able to take it to a track before Friday).
Will it be possible to go up the hill once Friday afternoon/night just to bed the pad/rotors on the way down?
Any other alternative? I would hate to have to do that during the fam run.

Yes, just keep speeds down to about that posted since people will be setting up the hill and there may be civilian cars, bicycles and pedestrians anywhere. Still plenty of chance to warm up the brakes on the way down.
The older I get the better I was.

Awesome thanks. Yes, the goal is just to warm up the brakes on the way down so will take it slow on the hill.
